Hester began her interest in theatre when she landed the lead in her third grade play. Skipping ahead about 15 years, she earned her BA in Theatre Arts from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN and her MA in Educational Theatre from NYU. She has taught theatre in various schools in New York and Los Angeles, as well as in prisons in New York and Ireland. Her experience varies from acting, directing, costume design and make-up. She is inspired by working in unique environments, and is enjoying expanding her knowledge to the medium of film through her work in Joey's Film Camps and the Workshop in Bakersfield, CA.
