James has a strong background in journalism and teaching that comes from his passion for sharing with others. With accomplishments in both professions he has covered everything and anything from geopolitics at the U.N. interviewing its members, to local politics, current events, and photo-journalism around the world. His time spent as a teacher has been just as diverse. James has taught literature, and history to middle school students in Los Angeles schools where he also worked in the after school literacy program for adults.

Besides traditional education, James is also a Kung-Fu instructor for students of all ages and all walks in life. From teaching kids in after school programs, training members of the police department and S.W.A.T, to running assault prevention programs for women, he gets a lot of satisfaction out of helping others feel confident about themselves and takes a lot of pride in it. Most recently James has worked teaching digital-imaging and production to top film students in the city's high schools that are handpicked and sponsored by local city councilmen, while still working as a camera operator himself.
