James Armstead (Cinematography)
James has a strong background in journalism and teaching that comes from his
passion for sharing with the others. With accomplishments in both professions
he has covered everything and anything from geopolitics at the U.N interviewing
it's members, to local politics, current events and photo-journalism around
the world. His time spent as a teacher has been just as diverse. James has taught
literature, and history to middle school students in Los Angeles schools where
he also worked in the after school literacy program for adults.
Besides traditional education he is also a Kung-Fu instructor whose students
have come from every age range and all walks in life. From teaching kids in
after-school programs, training members of the police dept. and S.W.A.T, to
running assault prevention programs for women, he gets a lot of satisfaction
out of helping others feel confident about themselves and takes a lot of pride
in it.
Most recently James has worked teaching digital-imaging and production to the
top film students in the city's high schools who are handpicked and sponsored
by local city councilmen, while still working as a camera operator himself.
