Raymond Martino was trained by such legends as Lee Strassberg, Uta Hagen, and Brett Warren at the Actor’s Mobile Theater. Mr. Martino has been coaching actors for over 20 years. In New York he taught scene study and improvisation at The Actor’s Workshop in Greenwich Village. He was a former member of the protégés ATA Theater for playwrights and actors whose member included Robert DeNiro, Paul Sorvino, and Barbara Bel Geddes.


Raymond’s work in children’s theater has moved and inspired him to create opportunities for all children, including those with special need. In addition to his love of acting, Raymond is a seasoned director, producer, screen writer, and playwright. His writing and directing credits include: “Da Vinci’s War,” “To the Limit,” “Skyscraper,” and “American Born.” Raymond received the Best Comedy Award at the Milan Comedy Film Festival for “Dumb Luck in Vegas,” which he co-directed with Joey Travolta. His television credits include the TNT drama series, “LA Heat.” Raymond received the LA Drama Critic’s Award nomination for direction of “Stooplife” at the Cast Theater and for writing “Road Runner at the Paradise Drive-In.” Raymond has also developed film and TV projects for Academy Award winning producer, Fred Roos, Dustin Hoffman, Murray Schisgal, Colleen Camp, Jay Cohen, and Paramount’s John Goldwyn and Julie Pistor.
